The new DNN release fixes some 50 minor bugs, provides many enhancements and a few new features, making it the most stable and secure and versatile version yet. Version 4.8:
Fixes bugs reported since the release of version 4.7, including one that caused ballooning memory use and another that slowed down the PurgeEventLog.
Enhances features such as the SEND action for newsletters and another that ensures that sensitive username and password information is not inadvertently remembered in the system.
Adds new features such as integrated pipeline support for IIS 7, and support for implementing breadcrumbs in custom designed skins.
